About Our Camp
Coach Vaz just completed his 22nd year as a High School Varsity
Basketball Coach. He currently serves as Physical Education
Department Chair and teaches at Mission San Jose High School in
Fremont, California. He has worked at a variety of basketball camps for
kids throughout the country, including 5 years at the Michael Jordan
Flight School in Santa Barbara, California.

VAZBALL Basketball Camp is committed to providing youngsters with the
same quality teaching that has made Coach Vaz the winningest coach in
school history at Mission San Jose High School. He and his staff provide
a learning-rich environment that is appealing to all ages and levels of
participants. On a daily basis the camp stresses fundamentals of the
game, including footwork, ball handling, passing, catching, shooting and
defense. Additionally participants will learn elements of teamwork,
sportsmanship, and the importance of having a winning attitude.

About Our Mission
Vazball basketball development provides a service that everyone in the
community can afford. The goal for our program is to provide a safe,
disciplined, highly structured environment where the participants can
feel good about working hard and improving their basketball skills. The
learner’s personal development is more important than the game.
Positive encouragement and measured improvement in fundamental
skills is the goal of our program. Team work, sportsmanship and the
spirit of the game are encouraged.
Thru basketball camps, clinics and leagues our organization can grow
into a valuable community asset.
